SC to SC OM3 Simplex with Flange Plastic Fibre Adapter Its housing is made of durable plastic and has a flange with screw holes. The precision of the ceramic sleeve that forms the connection for the ferrules ensures very low attenuation and repeatability of parameters.
The adapter is used in various configurations of connecting patch cords and in fiber optic switches and subscriber outlets where it connects the pigtail to the patch cords.
