Product Description
The GYFXY fiber optic cable consists of 200µm or 250µm fibers in a loose tube of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water resistant filling compound.
A steel wire in the centre of the core is a metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member to form a compact and circular cable core.
The cable core is filled with the filler compound to protect it from water ingress. The PSP is applied longitudinally over the cable core, a thin PE inner sheath is applied and the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath.
