ADSS Fiber Optic Cable

Product Description

All-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) cable is a type of fiber optic cable that is strong enough to support itself between structures without the use of conductive metal elements.

ADSS Fiber Optic cable is ideal for installation in both distribution and transmission environments. Because ADSS Fiber Optic cables provide an optimal solution for a wider combination of fiber counts and span lengths, more and more aerial cabling system designers are adopting them for telecommunications, such as power utilities, telcos, and private network groups. Combining convenience and cost-effectiveness, an aerial fiber optic deployment requires this type of fiber optic cable for better performance.

Features

Allow construction and installation without power interruption;

Superior resistance to electric marks with AT sheath. The maximum inductive at the operating point of the AT jacket can reach 25kV;

Track-resistant outer jacket available for high voltage (>35KV); HDPE outer jacket available for high voltage (≤35KV);

Light weight, small cable diameter, reducing the load and impact caused by ice and wind impact and load on towers;

Excellent tensile and temperature characteristics;

Conforms to IEEE P 1222 technical standards and meets IEC 60794-1 and DLT 788-2016 standards;

Applications

Electric utility distribution lines – framed in utility or communications space

Aerial and underground ducts

Enterprise OSP networks

Fiber-to-the-X networks
